Spinnakers at Naples 1909
The U.S. Revenue Cutter School training ship ITASCA went on a five month training cuise May to October 1909 to Europe, the Mediterran, stops at Tangier, Azores, and at West Point Military Academy and along the Hudson River. They observed sailboats with spinnakers near Naples.
