Sphinx was a symbol of Mount Holyoke Class of l923 and subject of a class song by Marion Nosser, archaeologst born Turkey, reisdent Brooklyn recent years - music by classmate Ruth King Dunne.Sophie often sang this song in Waikiki l940's.
